Behind the Lens

I spent my early years on the sunny island of Cyprus before permanently moving back to the UK in 2019. I am currently studying at the Institute of Photography at Falmouth University.
My husband, Ron, and I have two beautiful children, Russell and Rosalyn. Both were born at home, with Ron playing a pivotal role during labour. These empowering experiences have deeply impacted my outlook on life and photography.
They inspire me to capture real-time, unscripted moments that tell authentic stories.
Jiu-Jitsu has been a significant part of my life since February 2017. As a practitioner and competitor, I have travelled, trained, and competed in various countries. Jiu-Jitsu has taught me discipline and the importance of staying present in the moment.
More importantly, to seize every opportunity to grow and improve.
Through my lens, I hope to share stories of resilience, passion, and authenticity.
Birth and Motherhood
Inspired by my experiences, I aim to document the deeply emotional moments of childbirth and motherhood. Birth is a time when mothers are most vulnerable yet incredibly strong. It brings me joy to capture this extraordinary act for families to cherish forever.
Jiu-Jitsu Martial Art
I aim to reflect the intense struggle and raw emotions inherent in the martial art. Many moments tell a thousand tales, not only during actual competition or training but also behind the scenes. It could be an instructor giving last-minute advice or an athlete waiting in the queue at the airport β I know, I was there.
